Could this be true...

I love getting mail and rarely do, so when a package came from my sister I was so excited. But it was actually for my mother for her birthday. Lara asked me to call her before we opened it. So, I did and she told me to secretly film mom when she opened it because it was a really funny card. Now you know how oblivious and gullible I am... I didn't suspect anything. Watch the video to see what the card contained and to see the great reactions of the family!

I am so glad mom didn't notice me filming, because her candid reaction is just perfect! "Could this be true"...indeed it is true! I am going to be an aunt!! And no I didn't know, this was news to me at this moment as well!

this video made me so happy I watched it three times. i loved it!! how exciting for lara and jayson!

your family is so awesome, i love that you are all so sweet to each other. it's great that a hidden camera would catch a group of people who are all so kind and thoughtful to each other.

:)

thanks for sharing the great news. what a fun way to find out.

Thanks for posting this, Carolyn! I LOVED it. I just called my Mom and told her to watch it right now! This is the best news in the world.

You think YOU'RE oblivious!? I didn't know you even had a blog until just NOW! And soon you'll be leaving and I'll hardly get to partake much at all. But you will be such a wonderful sister missionary.

LOVE that video! I feel like I was there with you :)

That clip epitomizes all that is Cahoon:
-andrea helping out
-barb being thankful and genuine
-carolyn being so on top of things and videoing and doing all the prep work
-"Could this be true?" LOVE that!
-the fact that the glasses were atop the scriptures.
-Your dad's cute voice inflections...

I LOVE IT ALL! Congrats Carolyn! That child will be lucky to have you as their aunt!

I just watched this movie again for probably the 20th time. I LOVE IT!!! Thank you so much for recording this special moment. I wish I could have been there for it, but this is almost just as good and now we will have it to watch over and over again forever! We are so excited to be sharing this new phase of our lives with such a wonderful family! Love you!

Carolyn-

What a fun video! Your mom is so cute! And we're so excited for Lara and Jayson. I hope things are going well. I don't have yours or Molly's email address but I wanted to thank you for bringing that furniture. I was wondering if you had those pictures of our family that you took when we visited this summer. My email address is lindsaysrichards@hotmail.com.

Thanks Carolyn!

Carolyn--THANK YOU for that wonderful video. Shelly is so right. Where else but Barb and Brad's house is there so much sweetness... even on candid camera.

We are so happy for you as well! What a GREAT place to serve a mission! Congrats!

Love, Aunt Georgia

I just watched this AGAIN (twice)! I just can't get enough of it. I can't believe this was only 3 1/2 weeks ago, it feels like a lot longer than that!

I'm so glad I persisted until I got to look over your shoulder at the great unveiling! It's wonderful when everyone submits and just does what they're asked to do and we can all benefit as we did from your filming. Such fantastic news! I'm over the moon! HOW did you ever disguise the camera from your mom??
